Workspaces

A workspace is an isolated environment where your team connects AI provider accounts, creates API keys, and tracks usage. Everything in GhostMind — connections, conversations, projects, API keys, usage — belongs to a workspace.

Creating a Workspace

New workspaces are created by platform administrators. When you’re invited to GhostMind, you join an existing workspace.

Workspace Roles

RolePermissions
OwnerFull control: connections, API keys, members, settings
AdminManage connections, API keys, members
MemberUse playground, view conversations, create API keys

Switching Workspaces

If you belong to multiple workspaces, use the workspace selector in the sidebar to switch between them. Each workspace has its own connections, API keys, and usage data.

Workspace Isolation

Workspaces are fully isolated from each other:

  • Connections — AI provider accounts connected in Workspace A are not visible to Workspace B
  • API keys — Keys are scoped to a workspace and cannot access other workspaces
  • Conversations — Conversations belong to a workspace and cannot cross workspace boundaries
  • Usage — Usage is tracked per workspace
  • Assets — Generated assets are tenant-isolated with cross-tenant access denied
