Provider Matrix

GhostMind supports multiple AI providers. Each provider has a distinct role and set of capabilities. Provider availability depends on your workspace’s connected accounts.

ChatGPT

Role	Chat, vision, file understanding, generated images/files
Connection	User App → Connections → Connect ChatGPT (secure browser login)
Capabilities	Chat completions, streaming, conversations, projects, files, vision, generated artifacts
Transcription	Not supported through ChatGPT provider
TTS	Not supported through ChatGPT provider
Session management	GhostMind manages sessions; expiry returns `ACCOUNT_REAUTH_REQUIRED`

ChatGPT-specific notes

temperature, top_p, max_tokens are accepted for SDK compatibility but have no effect (ChatGPT web backend does not expose these controls)
tools, tool_choice, n > 1, logprobs are rejected with 400 UNSUPPORTED_PARAMETER
Image context may not persist in later text-only follow-ups depending on upstream ChatGPT behavior
Project file availability depends on the upstream account’s authorization

Google AI Studio / Savio

Role	Speech generation (TTS)
Connection	User App → Connections → Connect Google Savio
Capabilities	Text-to-speech with voice selection, async job lifecycle
Voices	200+ voices in Arabic dialects (Egyptian, Gulf, Levantine, etc.)
Output format	WAV (provider may coerce other formats to WAV)
Job model	Async — submit, poll, download

Savio-specific notes

Discover available voices via GET /v1/audio/providers/google_ai_studio_savio_tts/voices
Voice names are in Arabic (e.g., يوسف, مالك)
TTS jobs are async — poll GET /v1/audio/generations/{id} until status: "completed"
Download audio via GET /v1/audio/generations/{id}/content
The response_format field is accepted but the provider may coerce to WAV
